This is a senior-level opportunity for a proven business development professional who knows how to create opportunities, build trust with business owners and executive leaders, and convert strategic conversations into long-term client relationships. What You'll Own
- Drive new business development from first outreach through signed engagement
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, strategic introductions, partnerships, networking, and events
- Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with business owners, founders, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and other C-suite leaders
- Lead consultative discovery conversations that uncover business needs, leadership pain points, growth barriers, and operational challenges
- Position Jeffrey Michael Capital as a trusted strategic partner, not a transactional service provider
- Clearly communicate the value of the firm's consulting services and the strategic advantages of Praxis
- Help prospective clients understand how Praxis can improve visibility, support planning, strengthen decision-making, and create a more informed path forward
- Develop referral relationships with accountants, advisors, brokers, consultants, and other trusted partners
- Lead the full business development process from qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Work closely with internal leadership and consultants to ensure a strong handoff and alignment between business development and delivery
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, KPI accountability, pipeline visibility, and follow-up standards
- Continuously refine messaging, targeting, and approach to improve business development performance over time

The right candidate will likely have 8 to 15 years of experience in B2B business development, strategic sales, consulting, professional services, or advisory services. They will also bring meaningful experience working directly with business owners and C-suite business leaders, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships over time rather than simply pursuing one-time transactions. This person should be comfortable leading consultative conversations, identifying business needs, framing value clearly, and moving opportunities forward with professionalism and discipline.
